The short KMount Microphone Shock Mount offers additional protection for the microphone due to its tube-like aluminum microphone cage and offers a true 4-point suspension system based on K-Tek’s famous KSUS suspenders. This KMTS is the short version designed for shorter microphones.
The tough microphone cage, strong grip on the microphone and superb vibration dampening are the qualities most loved about the KMTS.
With a machined aluminum cage, the microphone is actually held firmly in place by two polymer KSUS Suspenders spaced 1.1″ (2.8 cm) apart. The mounts stretch to accommodate most shotgun mics.
