This Sidekick bottom attachment allows for the use of Mighty Boompoles with a plug on transmitter. The Male 3-pin XLR Transmitter Adapter faces up and features a removable Rubber bottom. Designed to fit Boom Pole Storage Units like the Boombox or Boom Caddy. Attaches to the bottom of any Mighty boompole. Used with plug-on wireless transmitters. Cable Kit (KPCK9, KPCK12, KPCK16, KPCK20) is needed with TA3F that plugs right into the KPTA. Once the cable kit is dropped through the top of the Mighty boompole and plugged into the module, the bottom module simply screws onto the threaded sleeve at the base of any Mighty microphone boom. No soldering needed. Made in the USA.
The KPTA is a 5.5×3.2” (140x80mm) module of machined aluminum with the new Mighty Boompole black anodizing process for better grip and smoother feel. The Male 3-pin XLR faces up. It has a sleeve and collar on top to fit onto any of the new Mighty boompoles. (KP9, KP12, KP16, KP20). It weighs 7.7 oz (218g) which together with the wireless transmitter also functions as a counterweight to help balance the boom pole and microphone.
